Terms of Service

Effective May 8, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Moreno Financial Services budgeting application (the “Service”), operated by Moreno Financial Services (“we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) and able to form a binding contract under your local law. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately at support@morenofinancialservices.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. What this app is — and is not

The Service is a tool for tracking your monthly budget, transactions, bills, and savings goals. We help you organize your money. We are not:

  • A bank, broker, or financial institution.
  • A licensed financial advisor, tax preparer, or accountant. Our calculations are tools, not professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making material financial decisions.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for your own financial decisions.

4. Acceptable use

You won’t use the Service to:

  • Break the law or violate someone else’s rights.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
  • Resell or sublicense the Service.
  • Upload malicious content or spam.
  • Impersonate someone else.

5. Your data

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into the Service. We claim no rights to it. We process it solely to provide the Service to you, as detailed in our Privacy Policy. You may export or delete your data at any time.

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms or fraudulent activity. We’ll give you a chance to respond unless we’re legally required not to.

7. Service availability

We try hard to keep the Service fast and available, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. We aim for 99.5% monthly uptime (excluding scheduled maintenance with 24+ hours’ notice).

8. Disclaimers and limits

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is capped at the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits — they may not apply to you.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration in Wilmington, DE — except you may bring claims in small claims court if eligible. You waive any right to participate in a class action.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this URL. If we make material changes, we’ll email you 14+ days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
